Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have the best students who deserve the highest quality materials and supplies to begin to support their learning goals and achieve success!

The materials in this project will help students accelerate their learning, achieve their goals, and aid in addressing their emotional needs by helping them gain confidence in their abilities in the visual arts.

Many of my students find the projects in our class, not only rewarding in what they produce academically, but also calming and addressing their social, emotional, and mental health needs during the school day.

The supplies for this DonorsChoose will provide my students with high-quality painting and drawing supplies, as well as a screen printing kit. I have been looking to incorporate screen printing into my classes, and students have been eager to try it. Until now, we have lacked the supplies necessary.

This project will set us up for success, engage my students in learning, and introduce them to artistic experiences they have yet to have!
