My scholars are an active group of 3rd graders who are always seeking to learn more. Each of them thrives on learning and all of them love discovering more through hands-on manipulatives. They crave stimulating challenges and student-centered activities to help them grow as learners.
We have over 50% of our students receiving a free or reduced-price lunch, but together our community, parents, and staff work to get everything we need.
I strive to give them the supportive environment that they deserve while they are in school so they can have the best chance to grow as scholars.
My Project
Learning English can be such a difficult task. Children need hands-on activities to practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening to English. These skills are critical for English Language Learners as they develop a new language in school.
These games and activities will be the perfect tools to help with building language.
The puzzles and matching games will be perfect for practicing the language independently. The Oxford Picture Dictionary books will be a great curriculum to address all four skills: reading, writing, speaking, and listening. These tools will help provide English words and phrases that will make communicating much easier.
