My Students
Young minds deserve an opportunity with the newest technology. They are quick to learn and they need a chance, they are the future!
I am so lucky to be spending my second year with my students, since I looped with them to grade one. I was their teacher last year for kindergarten.
Unfortunately, as my school has aged, so has the technology. Our classroom computers are slow, broken and not up to modern technology standards. My school is twenty five years old this year and we have not been given much money to keep up with our computers.
My students would really benefit from having an Ipad in our classroom.
My Project
My students would be able to use the IPads in many ways.
They could practice common core standards in all areas of the curriculum with many apps available on the Ipad. They could read books on the Ipad. Finally, research would be at their fingertips.
Please consider my group of six year olds. They are the future, and future is moving towards modern technology. Unfortunately my students are lacking in this exposure and I hope you will allow me to provide them with the best education possible! I thank you for your kindness and support in advance!
