Whether my students are walking into a brand new school or a new country, everyone is here to feel loved and learn. We create a sense of community in our room.
More than ever, my students need to stay connected to both academic and social-emotional needs while being in school.
My creative and enthusiastic learners have become a classroom family while in school. I want them to feel that this is a place where they can feel comfortable being themselves, all while learning at the same time. My students are still working hard while trying to learn during this crisis that still goes on. I want to make things, like learning, the best that they can be during these challenging times.
Too many times, some things happen that are beyond a student's control. Here at school, it is our job to do our best to reach every student's peak potential.
My Project
The Tonies allow my ESL students to hear stories in English on their own. The ability to offer students the chance to hear stories that are available by just the touch of a button when they want to listen is essential.
Abc's and 123, these are common to everyone, however coming from another country they are all new.
You would be providing my students with hands on materials to be immersed into the English language.
My students want to learn so badly and what a better way to learn than through exposure!
