"Abilities outweigh disabilities" is a quote that describes my group of students perfectly. I teach K - 2nd graders who have behavior disorders and other disabilities (I use that word lightly).
My students battle mental health, troubling home-life backgrounds, and academics all at the same time.
They are rock stars, constantly fighting for their education and wanting to be "the best."
My Project
My students come to school eager to face their challenges in their academics. They always put in their best effort, but handwriting is something that they all struggle with.
Even in this age of technology, handwriting is still important for my students to be able to write their names.
By donating to our project, you would not only help give my students the basics of handwriting, but you would be helping them in their future endeavors. It is important as adults, they will be able to at least write their names. These products will help them learn, excel, and be successful throughout their entire life.
