AAA Historians Need BrainPop!
My students need access to exceptional Social Studies / History videos through the online subscription, BrainPop.
All students benefit from learning visually, and this website offers incredible animated videos where a robot explains things from history.
Our students are very diverse, but like all adolescents, they still enjoy watching animation.
Having access to BrainPop will allow us to watch a number of short videos about a subject -- making it more comprehensible for all students; especially those who speak more than one language.
We are requesting a one-year on-line subscription to BrainPop, which will allow us to access animated, educational videos any time with a special code. Students learn so much better when lessons are electronic in nature -- after all, they have grown up in the digital age.
Sometimes textbooks and other resources just don't allow for the same comprehension as a short, animated video.
Any electronic device seems to keep the attention of adolescents, and BrainPop has the most fun and interesting videos to assist with this.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
