Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a special education teacher, I teach students with various learning disabilities. Most of my students need visual support to understand activities, tasks, directions, and discussions. I would like to create a learning environment that is welcoming and visually pleasing. Having a Cricut will allow me to incorporate visual supports in my classroom, enhance learning, and increase class participation. I could use the Cricut to label activity stations and/or learning areas and display step-by-step directions. Also, it can be used to help students create special projects. Students with limited hand mobility may have difficulties using scissors. The Cricut will allow students with mobility disabilities to participate in cutting activities.
