This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Do you remember how hard it was for you to identify numbers? Well my students are having challenges with counting and recognizing numbers.
I teach kindergarten at a Title I school in Tennessee.
My kindergartners are energetic and extremely motivated students that come from low income homes, where many of them have limited counting skills. They are eager to learn, but they are in need of tools to help improve and guide their mathematical processes.
My Project
These resources will not only help my students count and identify numbers, but they will also give them the confidence that they need, in math, which will inspire them to gain a greater passion for mathematics in the future. I have several children that can't recognize numbers 0-20, but with these much needed resources, my students will be able to practice identifying and counting numbers daily in their workstations.
Please help my students by donating these much needed math resources.
They will truly assist my students with counting, recognizing numbers, and mathematical processes. Please consider giving to their future.
