My Project

Color is crucial when engaging kindergarten students. In our Hawaiian Immersion school, we heavily rely on pictures and visual descriptions to teach language. Especially at the kindergarten level, the importance of using a plethora of visuals cannot be overstated. For young children, sitting in the classroom can become old, boring, confusing, unengaging, and challenging, particularly when faced with colorless words and images. Therefore, a color printer is essential for this purpose.

My goal for this project is to provide color images and flashcards, created with the help of the color printer, as valuable learning tools for my students.

Additionally, fidgets have been included in this project to offer a hands-on and interactive element, promoting focus and engagement in the classroom. An aquarium is also part of this initiative, aiming to further captivate my students daily, creating a healthy and safe learning environment. These extra resources, including the color printer, fidget toys, fidget chair bands, and an aquarium, are intended to promote learning and enhance my ability to better serve my students.
