This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am teaching in a new 3 Pre-K classroom this year and I expect my little ones to be eager to explore, learn and discover! As this is their first experience in a classroom, I suspect they will be curious and filled with wonder at the fun things we will do together. They love to learn and brighten up when they see something of themselves in a book. I am excited for this year's adventures to unfold through experiences and stories.

My Project

These books will help to instill a love and respect for books that I strive to nurture. My classroom library is a place children often find wonder and a bit of themselves in books. Every child learns to respect, love, and care for the books in our classroom with patience and love. They are excited to find familiar and new things in their books. They smile, laugh, frown, and react to books. The children often find a book that becomes their favorite, even at the tender age of 3! With these books, my little ones will have the opportunity to experience the magic of stories.
