When you enter my classroom, I hope you will see the strong bond of my class. My students won't be quiet. My classroom will be buzzing with collaborative learning, positive encouragement, and excited learners. Students will be facing challenges and conquering tough problems.
When you enter my classroom, you will find a group of amazingly gifted leaders.
These leaders in southwest Wisconsin are constantly challenging themselves and each other. They are asking questions, creating projects, and learning together. They work hard and try their best every single day. In our classroom, students take control of their learning and are not afraid to make mistakes. People often say that children are our future. If the future is in the hands of the leaders in my classroom, then the future is looking incredibly bright!
My Project
I believe in the power of books. Books have taught my students about, kindness, tolerance, amazing inventions, important people, different countries, and more. I believe it is crucial for classrooms to have high-quality texts that allow students to learn valuable lessons.
One of my favorite times during the day is when I get to read to my students.
Our read aloud time is a powerful time during the day. It is a time for bonding, learning, and reflecting. To make the most of our read-aloud time, I always want to make sure I have a good variety of books to share with my students.
In this project, I have requested many different types of books. The book The Most Magnificent Thing teaches students about being creative. The Cool Bean is the third book of a well loved series in our classroom. I have selected all of the books with a purpose and lesson in mind.
