My Students

A title nine school that is a place where many students come to get away from their struggling home lives. These students when they are not playing athletics are having to work to help support their families. Many of our students come from one parent homes where when they get home they are most of the times helping raise their siblings due to mom or dad working third shift.

Our athletes work very hard day in to day out trying to perfect their craft so that maybe one day they will have the opportunity to be a first-generation college student in their family and go to school for free.

My Project

This project will greatly benefit our team. Our helmets we are using currently have been used for many years and are starting to fall apart. Getting new ones will help the safety of the kids when they are in the batting box. The second item which are bats we need because our players cant afford their own so we need to equip them with some so that they have the best chance to be successful

My goal is to give these kids every opportunity to be successful so that when they come to baseball everyday they have no stress and they can enjoy playing the game.
