Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are very enthusiastic to learn new things in preschool. They learn through play and hands-on work during small group activities and free choice time. Our new curriculum requires many small group activities where children use their creativity and do discussion about what they are learning. Many of my students are low income families and they do not have experiences or are exposed to new technologies. As a teacher, I will like to help my students with all the materials that they need and they do not have it at home to improve their learning.
My Project
Having a wireless speaker will help us to develop our music and movement skills. Our classroom speaker just got broken and we are using an old CDs player and ours CDs get scratch for putting it so many times.
A wireless speaker will be very important in our classroom.
We will use the wireless speaker to listen to mathematical concepts as we sing and count sounds. We also will develop physical development. We will understand to move our bodies to the rhyme of music. Music will help us to express our feelings and relieve tension. We also will use music for literacy , listening center, and computers. We will also use to listen low classic music and relaxing during our resting time. Lastly, music will stimulate our creativity to create songs or give new words to old songs for pure enjoyment.
