In the classroom or when performing out of the classroom, my students need to hear the music selections well. The sound source needs to be reliable and up-to-date. I currently use my older boom box, which operates on an inconsistent basis. I need a new, reliable portable boom box that performs readily. The JVC CD Boom Box is the sound source that we need. Besides its beautiful,sleek and compact design,one of its many features is of interest to me: the dual deck cassette. The dual deck cassette feature would be used to record a rehearsal so that students could listen to themselves and analyze their performance,for example. Also, I could record a specific voice part on the keyboard and duplicate tapes for students to practice and listen to at home. Students studying and practicing at home would greatly assist my instruction in my chorus classes, for instance. Students who have independently studied to master their voice part could take on a leadership role during chorus class. This alone would be priceless to me! My middle school students often tell me what's COOL. I think that they would agree that the JVC Boom Box is COOL in looks and features. Our school is located in a small rural community in Alamance County of approximately 14,000 people. While our school is relatively new and beautiful, our resources to purchase materials are limited. We need your help in purchasing this needed item and ask that you grant us our request. Give us not only sound in our music room, but also, sound on the go. It is definitely a Win Win situation!
