My students need 9 HP color ink cartridges and 6 black ink cartridges to make our computer class projects come alive and allow them to take home a hard copy of their creations to share with their families.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
Open a "Whole New World" of computers to adult students. I teach ELL and ABE students. My English Language Learners are parents of children in our school system, and my ABE students are trying to obtain a GED to improve their opportunities for a better life.
Recently, I have been given the opportunity to expose my students to computers by teaching a computer class. Many of my students have never touched a computer before this class, and they are awed and inspired by the power and capabilities of computers. Unfortunately, budget constraints have not allowed my class to print any of their projects. When you are just learning about computers, you need to have a product in your hand to hold and take home. It's that product that you take home and hang on the fridge for all to admire that will continue to inspire all to learn!
Our class needs HP ink to print these creations. As a teacher and a parent, I want my students to be able to demonstrate to their children and families that they are life-long learners! With help and instruction, they have the ability to enter and succeed in the age of computers.
Please help me empower my students! Your donation of ink will allow them to show off their new skills and increase their self esteem.
