My Students
My 20 students are a wonderfully diverse group of learners who have a great range of learning styles and academic abilities. They love learning and they love being able to explore new ideas. I love that my students enjoy learning and are eager to come to school each and every day. There is nothing like a student grasping a concept and you seeing that lightbulb go off. It is an overwhelming experience to be able to see my students thrive day in and day out.
My Project
Our Literacy time is one of the students most favorite times of the day because they have the opportunity to complete different engaging activities. Being able to keep 5 year old's minds interested for a certain length of time is difficult, but with a variety of hands-on activities, that will be solved with differentiation since each student's specific needs are being met.
During this period of the day, students complete different hands-on activities to engage their BIG minds with learning how to read and write.
These fun and engaging learning centers are the perfect activities for little hands with big aspirations.
