My Students

I am the Resource Teacher to some awesome and fun 3rd and 4th grade students. These kids love learning and try very hard. They look forward to coming to school and they know they are cared about during the school day.

My Project

During this school year, I was assigned the Resource classroom for 3rd and 4th graders. I noticed that my new space did not have a carpet or an inviting place where kids could come to calm down if they need to. I want to provide a safe space with tactile pillows, sensory items and a carpet for, not just Resource students, but for any child in the school. I really believe this space would make a positive environment for the Resource room. I am excited to see how the project turns out!
