Help me give my students engaging, hands-on activities such as National Parks board games and a Junior Ranger Activity Book, to promote student interest in National Parks.
During the week, I have the opportunity to work with over 100 students who have been identified as gifted learners. Each day of the week, we service a different grade level. Our gifted students are able to participate in a resource pull out program that offers a day filled with hands-on and engaging projects that challenges them to think critically and creatively.
It is important for me to ensure that the instant a student enters my class, they are given meaningful opportunities to enrich their learning in a fun and engaging environment.
My Project
Gifted learners enjoy working with their peers in problem solving situations. They are challenged by hands-on learning activities.
Enriching and educational games such as Trekking The National Parks, National ParksOPOLY, and NP Top Trumps will allow time for our gifted learners to explore and gain interest in our National Parks.
In our program, students are able to conduct extensive research on America's National Parks and these games will provide an exciting introduction as they begin to develop background knowledge of America's wonders.
Our Gifted students have a great love for learning and being able to provide them with games specially designed to be both entertaining and educational, brings a smile to everyone's face. Learning will be a "walk in the park" for them.
