Welcome to our kindergarten classroom! We are an energetic group of students who love to explore new ideas and concepts. We spend our days exploring and learning about reading, math, and STEM activities. When we walk through the door to class, we are one as a school family.
In our class, we work together to have fun, make mistakes, and learn!
We come from diverse backgrounds, both ethnically and socio-economically, with a wide range of world experiences. We use flexible seating and grouping to make accessing knowledge more ergonomic and personally productive. As we begin our school career, we are learning to work together, learn from each other, and understand the similarities and differences that make us all unique.
My Project
Students, especially young children, learn best through hands-on, small group learning. We support this in kindergarten with games and interactive play that promotes the social and academic skills that are being taught through the curriculum. As students play and interact with each other, they have the opportunity to practice the skills that support learning.
