My Students

My classroom has students from various backgrounds who face daily struggles most people cannot understand. Despite these day-to-day challenges, they are incredible young adults who are enthusiastic, caring, and are eager to work together to support each other. I am eager to provide them with an environment that will help them thrive.

Middle school is a difficult time as these students begin the transition from childhood to adulthood.

I am working to create a learning environment that gives them all the supplies they need. I could not be more excited to teach a group of amazing young adults with unlimited, untapped potential.

My Project

We are in need of a television to help support our curriculum. In the classroom we use many media pieces to support our lessons. We do not have a quality screen to display the images/videos. They often are blurry, making it hard to view. The TV will be used in the classroom so the students will be able to better view the videos that we are using. It will be put on the cart so the student government will have access to it, as well.

Additionally, the television is important because it will allow us to project student work onto a clear screen.

Students then will be able to easily read and see what is being presented to them. These materials will help them learn and retain historical content.
