Help me give my students and athletes a new television monitor. Many students are visual learners and by them seeing what we are teaching, they will have higher rates of learning.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are intelligent, hard-working, and very successful in their own unique ways despite many of them having a difficult start in life. Every day, I see the many wonderful projects and displays of student work that show the care and effort that they put into their school work.
Our community is faced with many challenges including high poverty and crime rates.
This environment does have an effect on student performance, but we will not see it as a crutch or as a way to put limits on our students. We know that our students can and will make their dreams come true if we do not give up on them and they do not give up on themselves.
My Project
This television monitor will bring true 21st Century learning to my students and athletes. Students in today's world need to see what you are teaching in order to optimize their learning experience. Educational videos will provide students what they yearn in this new digital world that we are living in.
My football players and wrestlers in the school will be able to watch games and match video files in order to see what they did well and also what they can do to improve.
The students and athletes alike will improve their grades and performance to new levels. With your help, we will be producing stars in the classroom and on the field.
