This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in a self-contained Autism program. I have been working with my students since 2018. They deserve nothing but the best. I want them to reach their full potential. They are special because they have exceptional abilities which set them apart. They love arts and crafts and cooking. I love working them since they are determined and diligent students.

My Project

The COVID-19 pandemic has made a big impact to my students' learning.

Laptops help students keep track of their assignments and utilize an online school calendar.

Allowing students to receive and view assignments online and submit their work via email rather than being required to print them.

Most of my lessons are digital. With a stable laptop inside the classroom, this will enable me to present effectively using our projector. These will help me creatively utilize Jamboards and Google slides. During these unpredictable and tough times, this laptop will help me create and present engaging lessons and fun activities.
