Help me give my students a Bb trumpet to add a voice to our band.

Our high school was founded in 1957 as a school for the gifted children of New Orleans. The founders had a vision. Inspired by the launch of Sputnik and the space race, an American educational revolution was just beginning. Our school opened ahead of the National Defense Education Act that would put a new focus on science and mathematics.
Many of my students have never touched an instrument before reaching high school.
I'm proud that they dare try and succeed.
Indeed, the accomplishments are not limited to the classroom. Our students excel in the arts. I lead the music department (entirely!) and serve 125 students: Beginning Band, Beginning Orchestra, Intermediate Band, Intermediate Orchestra, Advanced Band 1, Advanced Orchestra 1, Advanced Band 2, Advanced Orchestra 2, Talented and Music Class, Music Theory and Music Theory AP.
We organize two major concerts per year, and the orchestra plays at school events while the band plays at sports games. We play in 2 school musicals each year. The orchestra participates in numerous outside-of-school functions. My students are very active and we also work with the Drama department to put together theatrical (musicals) presentations.
Many students at school would like to play an instrument and sometimes, they can't because their families cannot afford it. There are 160 students playing music at my school, and this is because we have a bank of instruments that last for generations.
The trumpet is often chose because it is a versatile instrument that can play in a variety of styles.
From jazz with growls and glissandos to smooth orchestra playing with vibratos to loud and beat-driven marches. The trumpet enables the player to express their style and kids like that. They also have Louis Armstrong as a reference in town!
Thanks so much for considering my project.
