I have incredibly curious and kind students. For most, this is their first year in school so they are excited and a little nervous. They are learning to be leaders in our classroom, school, and community. They want to do their best academically and socially. This year, I hope for them to learn how to be independent, responsible, encouraging, empathetic, and motivated. They deserve the best first school-year experience where they have the opportunity to grow emotionally, academically, and socially.
My Project
These baskets will help our classroom in many ways! The smaller baskets will be used in a storage unit that will hold math and reading station activities. The clips will be placed on each basket so the children will know exactly what they are getting. This will allow students to quickly and easily grab just what they need for their work time.
These baskets will also allow the children to work more independently.
They won't need to ask where to put something or which basket they need to take for work because they will be clearly labeled with the plastic clips. The lower baskets will be used to collect student work once they complete it.
