My Project

We have fabulous students who struggle with anxiety and depression and learn best in a supportive, therapeutic environment. They need a home-like, cozy learning space where they can de-stress and settle their emotions in order to focus on academics.

Our goal is to create a welcoming, calm and safe classroom space so our students can learn.

Research shows that trauma-informed classrooms that nurture the emotional needs of students help their brain to regulate, help them access calming strategies, and ultimately be ready to access their education. Thank you for your consideration.
