This will be my tenth year working at a public school. I receive so much joy from working with these students. Our school sees a transient population, and students from single-parent homes who (many times) are working multiple jobs. We as teachers do all we can to provide the assistance they need in order to be successful, but we could use your help.
In order to run an efficient classroom, with high student enrollment of anywhere from 25-30 students, my projects have the goal of helping students maintain focus and receive the support they need!
My Project
These books are great tools for helping teachers reach their learners in today's classrooms. Small groups are a key way of making sure each student is getting the amount of support (and the right support!) they need to learn at high levels.
Today's learners use collaboration both with students and the teacher to help process through the rigorous curriculum brought on by Common Core.
The books that will be provided help guide me as a teacher to make sure the collaboration is a quality time spent growing their minds and level of thinking.
My goal is to have these books guide my instruction to make sure that I am reaching each of my students while ensuring that they are learning the curriculum necessary to succeed in the classroom!
