My Students

My students are enthusiastic and eager 4th graders who love to learn! This coming year, I will be welcoming a new crew of 4th graders into our classroom. I know these students already have a love for learning and I am looking forward to help them continue their love for discovering new ideas. My students will often be collaborating with their peers in a variety of hands-on, meaningful activities in order to discover and come to conclusions in a student-lead classroom model.

My Project

These wobble chairs will be used at the reading table in my classroom. These chairs will give students a break from the regular chairs that they use the rest of the school day. This will allow students the mobility they crave while being at the reading table which is arguably the most important part of the school day.

Students will love sitting in these chairs and will have students looking forward to coming to the Guided Reading Table everyday.

I have already seen in my classroom that having alternative seating helps students focus more as they are able move more freely. I know that my students will love having these chairs in our classroom.
