This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students live in a growing neighborhood and attend a Title I public school.The fact that my students want to learn and want to learn in order to better themselves makes my students special.

I have students from all different backgrounds but all share one common goal...that is to be great.

We have built a family and as a family we want to see every student to succeed. As a second year teacher I learned quickly that I have a special bunch of scholars who want to make a different and want their voices to be heard.

My Project

Technology is everywhere, entwined in almost every part of our culture. It affects how we live, work, play, and most importantly learn. My students have the opportunity to progress their phonic and reading skills through innovations. Tablets will allow my students to receive the necessary time on this program in order to progress their phonic and reading skills. Also, integrating technology into the classroom is an effective way to connect with students of all learning styles. Tablets will help students be more responsible. Allowing my students to borrow these devices will give students the opportunity to improve their decision making skills
