My Students

Being creative means taking risks and ignoring doubt and facing fears. My students are incredibly important to me and they are so original in lots of ways that allow me to enjoy their company each and every day. Many of my students have not yet developed socially acceptable filters so they are amazingly candid and honest.

My students are always searching for inspiration in even the most mundane places.

I always say, "Being creative means your thinking!" My students love to complete intricate puzzles, build with LEGOs and create 'things". The difficulty is that most of my students are able to think of original ideas, but they haven’t spent enough time with any material to learn how to make the things they see in their mind.

My Project

These Four-Leaf activity tables will allow flexibility to my students who may need to leave their everyday tables for a new spot to concentrate, think, and learn!

Students need to move during the day from the table to the floor but many people don't realize that moving from one table to another is just as important to keep giving the brain new experiences as well as new creating space for groups to collaborate and store reading, writing, and math projects.

The shape gives students a defined place to sit with plenty of workspace and elbow room. The space will not allow for over crowding and is perfect for small groups!
