Most of my students come from families, who are only Spanish speakers; thus, some of their parents struggle to help their own kids with learning tasks such as their homework, but still, my students are always eager to learn.
I know that every student is different, and my students are not the exception, so we, the teachers, must always differentiate instruction.
My idea is to use technology to input and analyze data, so I can form groups to differentiate the way they learn. At the same time, I will be able to track their progress.
My Project
The Surface laptop will be used mainly to input information, analyze data, differentiate instruction, and create lesson plans.
Analyzing data to drive instruction is one of the main focus of my school district and using the Surface laptop will help me with this process.
The administrative personnel always ask for ways to validate the way I am teaching, so I have to create reports to demonstrate why I am taking some important academic decisions. They also want to observe the progress of my students during the school year and analyze the reports. The results will provide evidence of my way of teaching.
