A Successful Presentation Is the Key To Success...
My students need educational supplies to be able to complete assignments and projects for final grades. This allows struggling learners to show understanding of core content in an alternative way, increasing self esteem and grades.
My students are energetic, eager to learn, hard-working, creative, and fun. They are a diverse group of unique individuals all striving to overcome learning and sensory obstacles in order to achieve their academic goals.
Projects and presentations are a big part of final grades, especially for students with learning disabilities and difficulties.
Often students who struggle with reading and writing can show their understanding of core curriculum in alternative ways, that is where presentations and projects are implemented. In order to complete these projects, students need access to adequate supplies. As the school year comes to an end, those supplies are very limited.
All the students in my classroom are struggling learners who are impacted by memory, processing and focusing issues that cause them to need additional support to be successful in school. Despite their struggles, these students strive for success and push themselves to be the best students and people they can be. Providing them with every tool possible for success is my goal.
My Project
New markers, crayons, Sharpies, pencils and other basic supplies will make a big difference in whether or not my students will be able to complete all their final assignments, projects, and presentations for graduation from high school.
Making sure every student has what they need to be successful is the goal.
For struggling learners, that means giving them alternative methods to show understanding of core content material. That is where presentations and projects are implemented. In order to complete these projects, students need access to adequate supplies. As the school year comes to an end, those supplies are very limited. To allow these wonderful students the opportunity to "Shine", they need the tools to be able to "Create."
