Ms. Ullinger from Madison TN is requesting technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need a flip camera to become fluent readers, share stories with other classes, send video greetings to far-off penpals, and create visual works of art, batteries and a charger.

Students today are called "21st-century learners." It's hard to be part of the 21st century when you don't have access to 21st century technology. We want to be 21st century learners!
These first graders are just beginning the journey of school.
They are so excited to learn, to create and to work together. They have the passion and the motivation to reach all their academic dreams. What we lack in size, we make up for in energy. In order to stay engaged, they need to be doing and creating. But we don't always have the supplies to allow them to do that.
A Flip camera is technology so easy use to that even a 6 year old can do it, and that's just who's going to use it. We want to use this Flip camera to see and hear ourselves reading books, to create how-to videos, pen-pal messages, and take virtual field trips. A Flip camera can be used to enhance lessons in all content areas.
Without your support, this technology is out of our reach.
This technology is not strictly necessary to learn to read and write. But students today are expected to do so much more to be prepared to compete in the 21st century workforce. Please help us become creative members of the 21st century learning community.
