This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is a wonderful group of very sweet and eager learners who appreciate everything! My school is diverse and we celebrate growth and success every day. I believe every child can succeed and I try to provide my students with fun, developmentally appropriate activities that will also encourage growth. We love to read, write and can count to 100! I really and truly want to help all my students reach their full potential while having fun and learning at school.

My Project

This classroom rug will impact my students learning a great deal because it’s hard to learn when you are squished and uncomfortable. We spend a great amount of time on the floor as a community of learners.

It would be really wonderful to have this particular rug because it is bright, cheerful and definitely would provide a spot for everyone!

It would be great to read stories, sing songs, participate in learning games on a beautiful and bright rug like this one. The colors and pattern also are perfect for group work and simply keeping everyone organized! It would be a perfect place to learn and grow.
