My Students

I have the best Kindergartners again. They work so hard every day and always try their best. Some of my students come to school hungry so we make sure they eat. Many come to school without finishing their homework so we help with that. We are a school community. We care for each other and support one another every day.

We call our classroom our Family.

My classroom consists of 24 creative, ambitious and enthusiastic 4-6 year-old students who love to learn! My students crave a learning environment that is academically engaging. My students learn best with hands-on activities and games. They have a very short attention span so instruction needs to be in the form of games. Creating this kind of learning environment in the classroom helps to promote strong collaboration and cooperation skills. These are skills that they will use for the remainder of their schooling experience as well as in the "real" world.

My Project

My students need a comfy rug to sit on to listen during calendar time and daily lessons. This rug would be perfect for each student to have their own space to listen and learn. It is bright and eye catching! The colorful squares will be perfect for each child to know where their own space is!

In our classroom our motto is... If you can listen, you can learn!

This rug would provide an opportunity for my students to spread out from one another. This rug would be used for years to come and the children will be able to sit comfortably.
