Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

I have the privilege of teaching a classroom full of 20 little Kindergarten artists. They enjoy drawing, creating and designing with markers, colored pencils, oil pastels, watercolors and crayons. With the current budget cuts it is very difficult for me to keep them supplied. Over 75% of my students receive free lunches and over 65% are English Language Learners. Every time we get some new materials they are so excited. An assortment of basic supplies would be so helpful to continue to inspire their creative selves!
