My Students
My students are some of the smartest, hard working, unique people I have ever had the chance to teach. I teach in an Exceptional Needs classroom, where my students benefit from hands on learning and small groups. Many of my students are also ELL, meaning they also benefit from instruction in Spanish.
I want my students to be able to thrive in my classroom, so here I am.
Help my exceptional students get the materials they deserve.
My Project
Half moon tables will help my students learn in small groups, while still having their own space. Half moon tables also help me as a teacher, be able to reach all my students at the same time, without having to leave the area. This helps me better monitor student behavior and helps me keep students engaged for longer periods of time.
Books in Spanish will also greatly benefit my students.
Many of my students are ELL, and many only speak Spanish at home. In order to better reach them, books in Spanish are needed. These books have a sense of familiarity to my students, and will help keep them engaged in their learning.
