My students need a Carpet Rainbow Seating Rug for read alouds and meetings.

I am thrilled to be exploring literacy and social studies this year alongside two classes of 25 and 26 second grade students! All of my students live in the urban area of Baltimore City. Together these students and I are transitioning to a new building this year, where we will be merging with another school in the city. I have yet to meet my class yet, but I have heard wonderful things about the incoming class.
Specifically this year, my students and I will be focusing on engaging with as many exciting texts as possible.
Most of the class is coming in with below grade level reading scores, but our school specializes in making great strides with abilities and content knowledge. These second graders are coming into a classroom with great ambition, ready to experience the freshness of a new building and to see all that they can accomplish.
In my classroom, there are focuses on community and literacy. In order to create a healthy room where all of my students can feel together as a group, I am hoping to providing a class rug which will serve several purposes. At this rug, students will be able to have enough space and comfort to focus on whatever the task at hand is. Whether they are all carrying white boards, class texts, or clipboards, they will have room to work while being in close proximity to their peers.
We are all thrilled to engage with read alouds daily and to have morning meetings at a space that is conducive to our learning!
My two classes of 25 and 26 are hoping to have a space where they can chat and do turn-and-talks as a community. I love these kinds of rugs, which provide individual seats and enough room to feel that you are safe in your own space. I know my students will love it, too!
