Help me give my students nourishment and kid proof our tablets. Our students are hungry which is largely because of side effects and constant hyperactivity. I would like to have snacks accessible in our class to help.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are young smart babies who have some issues with behavior as well as academics. We are shaping their behaviors as well as making gains in academics. This year I have a group of 3rd graders. My students and I are first timers at our current school. We were moved from out previous school for district purposes. A new school year at a new school has been a tough transition. My students and parents have helped decorate our room and provided supplies. The move has been for our benefit and we are making ourselves at home. We welcome you to our 3rd grade class!! We are full of laughter and a delightful learning experience.
My Project
Our third grade self-contained class is filled with wonderful students. All of our students struggle with controlling their emotions and behaviors. As a result of these struggles, We need to kid proof our Amazon 7 fire tablets. These tablets reinforce academics. We also have a need to provide daily snacks for our class. After monitoring our students I have discovered that inappropriate and explosive behaviors arise when students are HUNGRY! In our class we want to minimize behaviors and increase our learning experience. Thus, providing daily snacks will provide nourishment and curtail the inappropriate behaviors. These snacks can also be used as reinforcers and treats for appropriate behaviors.
