My Students

Do you remember your first sketchbook - crisp white paper, endless possibilities. I want my students to experience this feeling with a sketchbook that they can have as their own, a place to draw what they see and feel, to record their ideas and thoughts.

Our small school system is in a rural area where resources are strained.

We are beginning our new school year with a severely limited budget. Our students are bright and creative. Art excites them and gives some of them their only chance to shine in a classroom.

My Project

These basic art supplies will give my students the chance to draw and shade using real art materials. They will be able to draw in the sketchbooks for years and use the erasers to develop value in their drawings. These experiences will begin to prepare them for college art courses.

We need these basic art materials.

My students deserve the opportunity to bring their ideas to life in these sketchbooks. Your generosity will also ensure that my students get to experience the confidence that creating something beautiful brings.
