My Students

My second graders walk into our classroom every day, full of life, and ready to learn. We are a public elementary school that serves PreK-4th grade and we are located in Northern Minnesota. Our school district is 51% free/reduced-price lunch. We are always seeking ways to provide experiences for students at minimal expense to the families.

The focus on our children and their learning is outstanding in our community.

I believe this contributes to our classroom and will create successful opportunities for a great start to their long educational career.

My Project

Our classroom will be receiving a collection of new books. These books will enhance our print-rich classroom. Our classroom library is a place the students really enjoy spending time. My students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their level as well as books that interest them

With our expanding library, we will need to have some new shelving to house these beautiful new additions to the classroom.

By adding the Classic Birch Storage Unit from Lakeshore Learning, we will be able to proudly display our new books. The shelf is the right height to "shop" for a good book to read and enjoy with one another.
