My Students

I love my students! They are rambunctious 7 and 8 year olds who love to learn! The thing I love most about teaching 2nd grade is that they can learn anywhere! I believe that students should be able to learn where they feel most comfortable. Sometimes that place is a carpeted area, or a table, or their own desk.

Carpets are very expensive, and not in the budget of a teacher.

My Project

A year ago when I started at my school, I got a hand-me-down carpet. That carpet was such a godsend. I love having my students learn on the carpet, it mixes up the school day for me and them.

Second graders need variety in their learning spaces.

I love to have them at the carpet to listen to stories, take notes, and view videos. This new carpet would be extra special because it would give every student their own space on the carpet. Classroom management will be easy peasy with this new carpet! Please help us by donating to this cause!
