A Rug for the Rugrats!

Help me give my students a rug that they deserve! Our classroom rug is old, worn out, and too small. They deserve a bright and big rug to promote circle time learning!

My Students

My students are active learners that love to do things hands on! They strive to do their best in all things, in and out of the classroom. They are always going above and beyond to help others and to spread kindness. My students all live in a small town and come from all walks of life, but they all treat each other as equals with love and compassion. They are wonderful!

My Project

My students and I spend a lot of time at the carpet for morning meeting, circle time, playtime, and more. Our current rug is fraying on the ends and is way too small, which limits our learning time at the carpet. If we had a bigger rug, we would be able to spend more time out of our seats and exploring learning from a new point of view with our friends. We would do read alouds at the carpet and have discussions that acted more like a conversation than a lesson. We would be able to explore more interactive games and move around more confidently if we had the space to do so. My students love to learn on the move, they deserve a rug that helps them accomplish that.
