My Students

My students come into class each day with smiles on their faces and an eagerness to learn that is insurmountable. I teach 25 amazing fourth graders. They are hardworking, motivated, humble, and appreciative. Our school is in a Title I area so I have students from many different economic backgrounds but that doesn't stop them from wanting to strive for the best. The best students in the world come from my classroom and I am so blessed to be their teacher!

My Project

A good teacher creates a collaborative learning environment for their students. Walk into any teachers classroom and you immediately see a rug! These rugs are for more than just decoration and catching dirt. They represent collaboration and family. As we gather on this rug, we will learn things that will stick with us from years to come. We will read together on it, we will play games, we will watch videos, and we will become a family. I strive to be the teacher that students remember for creating an environment they loved being in. Please help us become a learning family!
