My classroom has students of diversity, students with special needs, gifted students, and students who speak languages other than English. It is my job to see that they all develop the necessary early literacy skills to be successful.
My goal as a kindergarten teacher is to make learning fun.
The kindergarten students in my class come eager to learn and work hard every day. I want our classroom to be an inspiring and exciting place for all of my learners.
My Project
I am asking for colorful traveling bins and twistable colored pencils to use during our choice learning time. My students will be asked to make choices in their literacy learning. Yes, even kindergarteners can make a responsible academic choice.
All of the supplies needed for their academic choice learning time will be in the bins.
Students will be able to move around the classroom and work in a just right spot, with all of their materials within reach.
