My Students

We are a new classroom of 24 amazing, excited little kids! My students come from many different backgrounds. Over half of my students are English Language Learners who are still trying to learn English. A majority of my students come from a low socioeconomic area.

Regardless of their backgrounds, my students love to learn!

The excitement in our room is off the charts. These kids come to school every day ready to learn new things. These sweet kids are the reason I love coming to work each day!

My Project

My students love to illustrate and color! We go through crayons in our classroom like water! We are asking for crayons for our community bucket, a crayon sharpener to keep them sharp and erasers for our mistakes!

We are trying to add some color and life to our writing through beautiful illustrations!

We would love to have endless crayons to create illustrations to match our amazing writing. We write every day all day long! The best part of writing is to create amazing artwork to express our writing in a different way! The crayons will build up our supply and the sharpener will help them to last longer! Thank you so much!
