This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have a lot of energy and even more questions. They are emergent readers with an abundance of enthusiasm to learn!

Our classroom has some basic books and supplies, however it lacks a quality classroom library.

The students love being read to as well as looking through books developing their skills as readers. It would be great to have a library area filled with quality reading materials. Books that make students excited about reading.

We are an urban school in Northern New Jersey. For many students, English is their second language. The books they are exposed to at school are often the only reading materials they have access to.

I would love to instill a love for reading in them at an early age. They are a loving and capable group of children that I know will grow and flourish quickly with the right opportunities.

My Project

My students will be thrilled to have a Kindergarten Classic Grade Level Library (52 Bk Set)collection of new books. They love being read to as well as looking through books learning and aspiring to be great readers. This collection will greatly enhance their exposure to books and stories at a level appropriate for them.

Our classroom library corner has a special space anxiously awaiting our new collection.

One of their favorite parts of the day is when they are able to look through our library and choose a book. I know they will be very excited and welcoming to this new collection!
