My Students

I am a teacher in a Title I school which means that a large portion of my students that I teach struggle with poverty. School is a "safe place" for many of my students. The minute my students walk into my classroom, my number one goal is to show them know they are loved and safe while they are at school.

My students enjoy hands on reading and math games.

My students enjoy learning new skills and having the opportunity to practice those skills independently. They are thinkers and problem solvers.

My Project

Having an Epson Expression EcoTank Color All-in-one printer will give me many opportunities to create games and learning materials for my classroom. The students are learning addition, subtraction, place value and telling time to the hour and half hour.

I will be able to print bright colorful learning materials that will give the students an opportunity to practice the skills they have learned in the classroom independently and through play with their peers.

The possibilities are endless. The games and activities will be able to be used year after year, giving many children an opportunity to learn, play and feel successful in mastering the skills and concepts taught in the classroom.
