This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need the experience of holding a pencil to write their first words and engage in hands-on math and literacy activities. With a printer, I will be able to provide students with paper-based schoolwork that fosters their foundational skills.

Our school does not have a library.

I will print books on the students' reading level, offering children the pleasure of reading and the opportunity to write and highlight on printable books. We have so many opportunities for students to read a story on the computer but nothing is better than holding and reading a book!
