Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Our large school has a high ELL population with high spirits to learn and grow. These amazing students are full of life and come from many wonderful diverse backgrounds. My amazing school is full of many different students such as ELL, ESE, and a range of cultures. They are eager to learn something new and deepen their knowledge of something they already know. The students at the school are always ready to explore, work as a team and work hard to gain more knowledge.
My Project
The Power Pen materials will engage and enhance students in active learning. They will build and reinforce math and reading skills. The students will be also able to receive immediate feedback with an audio and visual response from the pen. The pen provides positive responses and encouragement to keep the students motivated and on track.
Each set of Power Pen kits will help the students review skills they have learned in class independently and challenge those students that are high achievers.
They will be able to use these kits in centers and as they finish their work early in class.
