A Pottery Wheel for Our Young Artists!

My Students

My students live in a small Vermont town right on the Canadian boarder. We are proud to be a part of a close knit community full of good values and friendly neighbors. My students are eager to learn about art and express themselves creatively in my classroom weather they are in 6th grade and just starting middle school or a senior in high school who is just about to graduate. They love to get messy and work with their hands and they thrive when it comes to goal setting and action research!

My Project

My students will love the ability to work with their hands to create one of a kind masterpieces. They will be able to experiment with creating different types of vessels from cups and bowls, to vases, plates and cookie jars! They will also get to experiment with different types of clay and even dig up their own from our clay rich, Vermont, earth.

Having a pottery wheel will broaden the skill base that my students are developing in art classes during their journey through middle and high school in a fun and memorable way.

I hope to give my students the ability to enjoy and create pottery for a lifetime.
